Unlock your inner artist with our Beginner Observational Drawing Techniques Class, designed to teach you the fundamentals of observational drawing! In this hands-on class taught by Figurative Artist and Life Drawing Sessions founder Rebecca Cunningham, you’ll learn how to draw from life, working with a real life model. You will be learning simple yet valuable observational drawing techniques. Whether you’ve never picked up a pencil or are looking to refine your skills, this class is designed for the absolute beginner or those wishing to improve their abilities. From basic shapes and proportions to line drawing, this workshop is all about building a strong foundation to help you put more confidence in your drawings.

All materials are provided, however if you wish to use your own sketch book you are welcome to bring it along (A3 size minimum, A2 preferred). We will be working with Charcoal and Pencils.

Please arrive by 8:45am so we can start on time. Class runs 9am - 12pm with a tea break. BYO snacks.

As we are working with a life model we ask that you respect their privacy and refrain from using your phones during the session while the model is derobed.
